Ruby Bunn Fowler, 93, of Marshall Street, died June 18, 1992, in a nursing home.  
Mrs. Fowler was born in Newsoms and was a member of Boykins United Methodist Church. She was the widow of George Ryland Fowler.  
Survivors include a daughter, Annie L. Sykes of Boykins; four sisters, Ethel B. Saunders of Suffolk, and Gladys B. Shaw, Evelyn B. Ferrell and Bernice B. Decker, all of Portsmouth; a brother, Bennie B. Bunn of Newsoms; a grandchild and a great-grandchild.  
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Beechwood Cemetery by the Rev. Donna Marie Foos and the Rev. Bill Sturdevant. McDowell Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the church.
