Obituary of Sue Wallis Puller Forrer SUE WALLIS PULLER FORRER Virginian Pilot  06-21-1999 FRANKLIN  Sue Wallis Puller Forrer, 82, died June 20, 1999, at Walter Reed Convalescent Center in Gloucester. Mrs. Forrer was born Nov. 6, 1916, in Hanover County and was the daughter of Walter Golder and Mary Tener Puller. She grew up in Hanover County and Richmond, where she met and married the alte John J. Forrer Jr. in 1941. The Forrers moved to Franklin in 1948 where they reared their three children. Mr. Forrer died in 1989. Mrs. Forrer left Franklin several years later and was cared for in her daughters home in Richmond, then Hardyville (Deltaville) until she was admitted to Walter Reed Hospital on June 11, 1999. While in Franklin, Mrs. Forrer served as a pink lady for Southampton Memorial Hospital, and was active in the local womans club, garden club and book club. Surviving are one daughter, Susan Williams of Hardyville; two sons, John J. Forrer, III of Saluda and David R. Forrer of Harrisburg; one sister, Louise P. Strole of Virginia Beach; six granddaughters and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Judes Catholic Church, 1014 Clay St., Franklin. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Judes Catholic Church or Ruth Camp Campbell Library, 280 N.
