Obituary of Laura Evelyn Bunn Ferrell LAURA EVELLYN BUNN FERRELL Virginian Pilot - 03-18-2001 FRANKLIN - Laura Evelyn Ferrell, 86, of the Village at Wood Edge, died March 17, 2001. A native of Newsoms, Va., she was the widow of Mallory Hope Ferrell Sr. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, Franklin, and a former member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Portsmouth. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Ferrell Dean and husband, Alvin Jr., of Virginian Beach; a son, Mallory Ferrell Jr. and wife, Gloria, of Peachtree City, Ga.; three sisters, Ethel Saunders of Suffolk; Gladys Shaw of Franklin and Bernice Decker of Portsmouth; five grandchildren; three great-granddaughters, Susan Bonar of Las Vegas, Nev., Kimberly Imberi of Peoria, Ariz.;; Kristen Dean of Virginia Beach; two grandsons, Mallory Ferrell III of Louisville, Tenn., and Eric Ferrell of Peachtree City; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Centenary United Methodist Church with the Rev. William L. Vann III and the Rev. Edward C. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
