Dallas Ferrell, 51, of the 7300 block of Old Mill Road, a self-employed painter, died July 23, 1992, in a hospital. 

Mr. Ferrell was born in Ryland, W.Va. He was a member of Church of Christ. 

Survivors include a sister, Hester F. Pierce of Suffolk; four brothers, Mennis Ferrell and Neal Ferrell, both of Suffolk, Burgess Ferrell of Windsor, Va., and Emett Ferrell of Pleasant Hill, N.C. 

The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Windsor Cemetery , Windsor. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad.
