Obituary of Carlton Edison Ferguson Sr. CARLTON EDISON FERGUSON Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 19, 2004 Carlton Edison "Ed" Ferguson Sr., 72, formerly of Carrsville, died Jan. 18, 2004, at his home. Born in Fentress, N.C., he was the son of the late Samuel Carlton and Mary Miles Ferguson. He was the retired owner and operator of Eds Repair in Carrsville and was a charter member of the Franklin Loyal Order of Moose. He was a member of Sunbeam Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Emily Mobley Ferguson; a daughter, Cathy Grizzard and her husband, Wayne, of Drewryville; a son, Carlton E. Ferguson Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Franklin; a stepson, Bobby Turner and his wife, Linda, of Courtland; a granddaughter, Taylor Renee Ferguson of Franklin; five step grandchildren; four stepgreatgrandchildren; two sisters, Olive Whitley and Victoria Story, both of Franklin; and his pet and best buddy, Charlie. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Ben Duffey officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery , Newsoms .
