A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the daughter of the late Gurley M. and Edith Everett Scott. She was a member of Windsor Christian Church, the Women's Fellowship and for many years sang in the choir. Survivors include her husband, Carl Edward Eason Sr.; a daughter, Yvonne Eason Powell of Chesapeake; a son, Carl Edward Eason Jr. of Suffolk; a sister, Hilda Scott Musick-Sykes of Carrollton; three brothers, E. Mabry Scott, Durwood V. Scott, both of Windsor, W. Taylor Scott of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Margaret K. Eason, Carl Edward Eason III, Shannon K. Mintz, R. Matthew Mintz and J. Andrew Mintz. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Basil Ballard. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery .
