Obituary of ROBERT JESSE DUNLOW SR. The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, September 3, 1994 Robert Jesse Dunlow Sr., 68, of Jerusalem Road, died Sept. 1, 1994. Mr. Dunlow was a lifelong resident of Southampton County. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a retired paper maker for Union Camp Corp. and a former town sergeant for the Town of Courtland. Mr. Dunlow was a charter member of Courtland Rescue Squad, former member of Courtland Volunteer Fire Department, Franklin Civil Air Patrol, Courtland Ruritan Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and charter member of Sportsmans Bassmasters. He was an instructor for the Virginia Wildlife Hunters' Safety Program and was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Robert Jesse Dunlow Jr. of Sedley, William W. Dunlow of Norfolk and Gary L. Dunlow of Black Creek; two brothers, Thomas E. Dunlow of Capron and L.D. Dunlow of Morehead City, N.C.; and five grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. Kathy Gochenour. The family will be at the home of Bobby and June Dunlow, 30207 Vicksville Road, Sedley, and suggest memorials be made to the Southampton County Sheriff's Department Discretionary Fund, P.O.
