He was the son of the late James T. Dunlow and Sarah Dunlow Story and was also predeceased by a brother, Melvin J. Dunlow. Mr. Dunlow was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a heavy equipment operator and business manager for Melvin Mann Sand Pit. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Mary Francis Dunlow; a daughter, Nancy Dunlow Joyner and husband Larry of Franklin; a son, James E. Dunlow Jr., and fianc'e Patricia Dixon? Of Franklin; two sisters, Shirley D. Edwards of Franklin and Ann D. Eisenhouer of Florida; a brother, George B. Dunlow of Franklin; three grandchildren, Jamie Joyner, Amanda Joyner Banks and her husband Dallas and Jay Dunlow III and wife Tabetha. A graveside funeral with military honors will be held March 4, at 2 p.m., in Mount Horeb Cemetery with the Rev. Nancy Redding officiating.
