   SUFFOLK  Elsie Mae Saunders Duck, 82, died March 6 in Suffolk.
   Born Sept. 8, 1920, in North Carolina, she was the widow of Richard Duck and the daughter of the late Sarah Elizabeth Piland and Thomas Jefferson Saunders.
   Survivors include three daughters, Clara Ann Crawford and husband Curtis of Portsmouth, Mary Jones and husband Gerald of Greenville, S.C.,  and Sarah Crawford and husband Del of Suffolk; two sons, William Duck and wife Nancy of Windsor and Richard Dickie Duck and wife Connie of Suffolk and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
   Visitation was held at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home. A graveside service was to be held March 8 at 11 a.m. in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. William Hawkins. The family will be at 1141 Turner Drive, Suffolk. Memorial donations may be made to Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, VA 23439.
