Rebecca Rountree Dubrowsky, a resident of Colonial Heights and Newsoms , died at her home in Colonial Heights Sept. 22, 2001. 

Mrs. Dubrowsky was born in Southampton County and was the daughter of the late Guy Pope and Elizabeth Worrell Rountree formerly of Newsoms . She was preceded in death by her first husband, 2nd Lt. William W. Webb. 

Mrs. Dubrowsky was a teacher in the Colonial Heights public school system for 28 years. She was a graduate of Longwood College, a member of Colonial Heights Federated Woman's Club and Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Jaroslaw; one son, James Michael Dubrowsky and daughter-in-law, Christine, of Goldsboro, N.C.; a brother, Guy Pope Rountree Jr. and wife, Sandra; a niece, Laura Wright; and a nephew, Brian P. Rountree, all of Newsoms . 

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Hollywood Cemetery , Newsoms . The family will receive friends at the home of Linda N. Vick, 29306 South Main St., Newsoms , from 4 to 6 p.m. today. Wright Funeral Home, Boykins, is in charge.
