 Edward Travis Drummond, 84, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 1996, in his home. 
A native of Brunswick County, his parents were the late William Frank and Sally Clary Drummond. He was a member and past deacon of Boykins Baptist Church and had retired as a route manager for Whiteway Foods, Boykins. 
His wife was the late Virginia Beatty Drummond and he was predeceased by two brothers, Bryan and Ewell '''Billy'' Drummond; and a sister, Adeline D. Clary. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by the Rev. Kenneth Williams. The family will be at the residence of Shirley Connell on Meherrin Road, Boykins. Memorials may be made to the Dickie Bass Memorial Carillon Fund of Boykins United Methodist Church or to the Boykins Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad. Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins, is handling arrangements.
