   SUFFOLK  John Wesley Doyle Sr., 76, died June 3, 1998.
   A native of Nansemond County, he was the son of the late George Fletcher and Louse Pitt Doyle. Mr. Doyle. Mr. Doyle retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 36 years of service and also was retired from Southern Oil Co.  He was a member of Oakland Christian Church and was a World War II Army veteran.
   Survivors include his wife, Lucille Barnes Doyle; three sons, John W. Doyle Jr., Duke Fletcher Doyle, and Harvey Pitt Doyle, all of Suffolk; a sister, Mary Louse Edwards of Smithfield; and four grandchildren.
   A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Oakland Christian Church by the Rev. Mark Burns with burial in Newman Memorial Cemetery. The family will received friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Oakland Christian Church Building Fund, 5641 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, VA. 23432 or to the Chuckatuck Volunteer Fire Department, 5960 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, VA. 23432.
