She was born in Boykins and was daughter of the late W. C. & Ann Bailey Bryant. She was a retired Elementary School teacher, having taught over 30 years in the Southampton County, Henry County and Northampton County, (NC) systems. She was a member of the Boykins Baptist Church. Her husband was the late Ralph G. DeLoatche. She is survived by a son, R. Graydon DeLoatche, Boykins, two grandchildren, William Bryant DeLoatche, Boykins, Julianne DeLoatche Guller, Richmond, and a sister, Mrs. Virgie Bryant Porter, Cumberland. A graveside funeral will be held in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, VA on Monday, Dec. 19, 1994, at 1:00 p.m. by the Rev. Ben Thomas.
