Deale, 75, a resident of Newsoms, died Friday, Aug. 25, 1995, in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin. He was a native of Newsoms, and son of the late Luther F. and Louise Deale. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Boykins Baptist Church. He was a retired civilian employee of the U.S. Navy Department, Washington, D.C., where he administered an inventory control system, which he developed while working at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was the husband of the late Sarah "Party" Deale. He is survived by a niece, Cindy Deale of Boykins; and numerous niece and nephews-in-law. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Boykins Baptist Church by the Rev. Kenneth Williams and the Rev. Benjamin Thomas. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. Memorial donations may be made to Boykins Baptist Church or to the Boykins Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad. Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel, is handling arrangements.
