She was a longtime member of Franklin Baptist Church. She was predeceased by a daughter, Meredith Day Clark. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Frank R. Day Jr.; one daughter, Peggy D. Baxter of Cumming, Ga.; one son, Frank R. Day III of Cumming, Ga.; four sisters, Lucille Bruce of Frostproof, Fla., Barbara Mixon of Poquoson, Va., Jacqueline Duff of Franklin, and Ann Weatherington of Henderson, N.C.; five grandchildren, Charles B. Hogan IV, Anita Dillard, Shannon VanVoorhis, Brad Day, and Meredith Day; and two great-grandchildren, Charles B.
