Obituary of Thomas Eugene "Ted" Davis THOMAS E. DAVIS Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - June 9, 1999 Thomas Eugene ``Ted'' Davis, 45, died June 7, 1999, in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. Ted was born in Franklin on Dec. 30, 1953, a son of the late William Shepard and Lillie Mae Dansey Davis. He was a 1972 graduate of Windsor High School and was retired from St. Regis Paper Co. Ted loved fishing and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Boston Celtics. Survivors include a daughter, Loretta Lynne White and her fiance, Robert, of Courtland; a son, Stacy Lee Davis and his wife, Destinee, of Reidsville, N.C.; a sister, Debra L. Carr and her husband, Nelson, of Carrsville; a brother, Mac Davis and his wife, Kim, of Carrsville; two grandchildren, Kerstian Falcone and Austin Davis, both of Reidsville, N.C.; a niece, Sherry Minga; and two nephews, Chris Carr and Billy Davis, all of Carrsville. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Steve Bradshaw. The family will receive friends at the home of Mac and Kim Davis, 30370 Hunt Club Road, Carrsville. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge.
