Obituary of June Odom "J. O." Davidson Jr. JUNE O . DAVIDSON JR. Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, April 10, 2001 June Odom ``J. O .'' Davidson Jr., 77, died April 7, 2001. Mr. Davidson was a native of Nansemond County, Va., and retired after 34 years as a service manager for Commonwealth Propane. He was a lifetime member of Holy Neck United Church of Christ, a charter member of the Commonwealth Chorus, a member of Holland Ruritan Club for 45 years, and a member of the Traveler's Protective Association Post P. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II. He was the son of the late June Odom Davidson Sr. and Louise Eley Davidson . Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marjorie W. Davidson of Suffolk; sons and daughter-in-law, Stephen T. and Janet S. Davidson of Suffolk, and Mark G. Davidson of Chesapeake; grandchildren, Kevin T. Davidson of Hampton and Stacey A. Davidson of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Doris D. Baker of Suffolk; sisters-in-law, Mary W. March, Carol J. Williams and Ann G. Williams; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Scott Fuller. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence of his son, Stephen T. Davidson , 4941 Deer Forest Road, Suffolk.
