Banie Walden Daughtrey, 94, died Sept. 2, 1993, in Courland Health Care Center. 

Mrs. Daughtrey was a native of South Boston, Va., and was the widow of V. Kemper Daughtrey. She was a retired high school teacher and a member of Franklin Baptist Church. 

Survivors include nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Sharon James. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
