Leola Beale Dalton, 89, died Monday, Jan. 1, 1996, in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.  
She was the widow of William David Dalton. A native of Southampton County, her parents were the late Benjamin H. and Nannie Waller Beale. She was a member of Branchville Baptist Church.  
She is survived by three nieces and four nephews.  
The funeral will be held in Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel, on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996, at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. The family will receive friends in the funeral home for an hour prior to the service Wednesday.
