   SUFFOLK  Diane Saunders Dale, 51, of the 100 block of Crumpler Lane, died Saturday, May 2, 1998.
   She was a native of Norfolk and had been currently employed at Hair Cuttery in Suffolk as a hairdresser.
   Survivors include her mother, Virginia C. Saunders of Portsmouth; a brother, E. Wayne Saunders and his wife, Gretchen, of Winchester, Va.; a niece, Margaret Saunders of Charlottesville, Va.; and a nephew, Andrew Saunders of Ashland, Va.
   A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. T.M. Frye. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
