Obituary of Amos Hudson "Butch" Cutright AMOS "BUTCH" CUTRIGHT Tuesday, June 06, 2006 Ivor, Virginia Amos Hudson "Butch" Cutright, 63, passed away at his home on Monday, June 5, 2006 with his loving family by his side. Born October 5, 1942, he was the son of the late Amos Wilson Cutright and Ruth Slade Cutright. He was a Trustee, a Deacon, a Sunday School Teacher, and RA Leader with Millfield Baptist Church, was also a member of Ivor Ruritan Club, Past Master of Ivor Masonic Lodge #291 AF&AM, an avid fisherman and sports fan, and loved any type of live sports. He retired from Union Camp Corporation after 34 years of service. Butch was a friendly and much-loved member of the Ivor Community. He loved people and was always concerned about others. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 40 years, Betsy Worrell Cutright; their son, Neil Slade Cutright and wife, Jennifer of Ivor; one grandson, Dustin Slade Cutright; mother-in-law, Vera E. Worrell; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by seven brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held at Millfield Baptist Church, Ivor, on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Wellford Tiller officiating. Interment will follow in Ivor Cemetery, Ivor, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, and at other times at the residence of Neil Cutright on Millfield Rd..
