Obituary of Robert Lee Cutchins Sr. ROBERT LEE CUTCHINS SR. The Tidewater News  06-03-2000 FRANKLIN  Robert Lee Cutchins Sr., 64, died June2, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Mr. Cutchins was a native of Southampton County, and was a son of the late Clarence and Janie Futrell Cutchins. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church, and retired from the automotive maintenance department of Union Camp Corporation after 25 years of service. He was the former owner of Cutchins Exterminating and was a major influence in the organization of Bobbys Muffler and Tire Center in Franklin. He was a former member of the Franklin Kiwanis Club. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Barbara Ann Cutchins; one daughter, Angela C. Cutchins and husband Greg of Franklin; one son, Robert L. Cutchins Jr. and wife Diana of Courtland; two sisters, Clara Mae Benson of Emporia and Ann C. Bess of Newsoms; two brothers, H. Paul Cutchins of Virginia Beach and James C. Cutchins of Zebulon, N.C.; four grandchildren, Robert L. Cutchins III, Tonya Cutchins, Jamie Cutchin and Lucas Cutchin; a dear friend and companion, Earl Ellis; a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral was conducted June 4 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Dr. Reginald Warren and Randy Wooden officiating.
