Mrs. Cutchins, a Baptist, was born in North Carolina. Survivors include her husband, Raleigh Carson Cutchins; three daughters, Toni Thompson of Rock Hill, S.C., Regina Lowe of Ivor and Peggy C. Smith of Franklin; a son, Raleigh J. Cutchins of Virginia Beach; eight sisters, Ella Hines of Currituck, N.C., Nellie Cutchins of Virginia Beach, Shelby Bess of Ahoskie, Ora Foreman of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Elvie O'Leary of Florida, Elsie Campbell of Gaston, N.C., Lucy Hartman of Baltimore and Macon Fernon of California; two brothers, Jim Newsom of Weldon, N.C., and Walter Newsom of Michigan; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
