She was a retired chief operator with C&P Telephone Co. after 30 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was the widow of I.B. Crutchlow and was a Methodist. Survivors include six daughters, Lucille E. Hagan of Keystone Heights, Fla., Nather C. Gray of Chesapeake, Nancy C. Coley of Franklin, Lena A. Ellis and Dorothy P. Crutchlow, both of Suffolk, and Susan C. Stewart of Portsmouth; a son, I.B. Crutchlow Jr. of Marathon, Fla.; three brothers, Asbury Blankenship of Danville, Horace Blankenship of Shenandoah and Fred B. Blankenship of Virginia Beach; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. James X. Camak VI.
