Mrs. Crumpler was born in Isle of Wight County and was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Lena Duck Johnson. She was predeceased by her first husband, James Horace Bradshaw. Mrs. Crumpler was a member of Burdette Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Melvin Lee Crumpler; one daughter, Dianne B. Fowler of Burdette; two sons, James H. Bradshaw Jr. of Smithfield and Charles ``Frog'' Bradshaw of Franklin; two sisters, Gladys Johnson Parker and Myrtle Johnson Rainey, both of Franklin; eight grandchildren, Pamela B. Davis, Lisa B. Morris, Sandra B. Silvia, C. Heath Bradshaw, Michael J. Bradshaw, Trina M. Bradshaw, Tracy Fowler Jernigan and Melissa R. Fowler; three great-grandchildren, Lisa Lynn Davis, Shane Davis and Kayla Silvia. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. Larry Cribb.
