   SUFFOLK  Ida Louise Hayes Crumpler, 79, died May 2, 2002.
   Born Nov. 21, 1922, in Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wilson and Bertha Lee Spivey Hayes of Suffolk. She was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church and a volunteer with the Obici Hospital Auxiliary.
   Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Frank Weymouth Crumpler, and nieces and cousins.
   A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the graveside in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. E. Clifton Whitlock. The family will be at her home. Memorials should be made to the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, VA 23434 of charity of choice.

Born 21 November 1922 in Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wilson and Bertha Lee Spivey Hayes of Suffolk. She was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church and a volunteer with the Obici Hospital Auxiliary.
