Barbara L. Cox, 64, died Oct. 11, 2000. Born in Isle of Wight County, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Cox and Gladys Lucille Duck Cox and a member of Mount Carmel Christian Church. 

She is survived by numerous cousins; and aunts, Mildred Bracy and Norma Jennings, both of Suffolk. 

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery by the Rev. J. Robert Bennett. Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home is in charge.
