 FRANKLIN - John Franklin "Frankie" Clifford, 36, died Sept. 8, 2002. 
   Born in Southampton County, he was the son of the late Carolyn Arrington Clifford. Frankie was a self employed dry waller, a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and an Army National Guard veteran. 
   Survivors include his wife, Lisa Veihdeffer Clifford; a daughter, Samantha Van Schoick; two sons, Bryan Clifford and Billy Van Horn Jr.; two brothers, Charles Clifford and his wife Teresa of Carrsville, and William Clifford and his wife Christina of Kingsdale; and his father, John D. Clifford of Bryant Pond, Maine. 
   A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. William Hawkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. Memorials may be made to the family at 34505 Brookside Court, Franklin, VA 23851.
