Rose Wynne Claude, widow of Clyde Corbell Claude, died Monday, July 4, 2005. She was 98 years old and is survived by two sons, Corbell Lee Claude and Robert Vance Claude; and a daughter, Lelia Claude Koplin all of Richmond; five grandchildren, Robert C. Claude, E. Bevan Claude, Eric J. Koplin, Michael P. Koplin and Lara W. Koplin; and one great-grandson, Miles G. Dawkins. Mrs. Claude was born in Drewryville, Va. and attended Harrisonburg State Teacher's College. She was an accomplished pianist and often entertained throughout the Richmond area until the late 1980's. A graveside service will be held at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church in Drewryville, Va. at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2005. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, P.O. Box 57, Drewryville, Va. 23844.
