Born in Southampton County, Mr. Clark was the son of the late George Frank and Mariah Worrell Clark. He retired from Ivor Oil Co. and was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 47 years, Viola Bradshaw Clark; a daughter, Hazel Greene and her husband, R.B., of Franklin; a sister, Adlene McCoy of Newport News; a brother, Eldridge Clark of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Steven Greene and his wife, Hope, of Franklin and Lori Bailey and her husband, Steve, of Courtland; three great-grandchildren, Zachary Greene and Travis and Bradley Bailey. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Curtis Clark, Wilson Clark and Richardson Clark. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church by the Rev. Steve Bradshaw. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
