She was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Holly Carter Rountree and husband Brian of Newsoms; two brothers, Glenn W. Bridges and wife Patsy and Hubert Bridges Jr. and wife Linda, all of Franklin; all of Franklin two grandchildren to whom she was known as "Nana," Taylor Michelle Rountree and Hunter Pope Rountree; her mother-in-law, Maybelle Ellis Carter of Suffolk; two special cousins, Shirley Wentz and Chris Cole and husband Steve, all of Franklin; three nieces; one nephew; and her faithful cat, Tequila. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dietman Plajar officiating. Burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park.
