Mr. Carr was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County and was the retired owner of Carr's Garage in Carrsville. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and a charter member of both the Carrsville Ruritan Club and the Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Bessie Boykin Carr; a sister, Mildred C. Vaughan of Chuckatuck; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by Dr. Richard L. Peerey. Burial will be in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery.
