Phyllis Miller Bunch, 67, of Route 2, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. 

Mrs. Bunch was born in Wellington, Kan. She was a retired legal secretary, having worked for former U.S. Senator William B. Spong Jr. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Franklin, Va. 

Survivors include her husband, Joshua C. Bunch; three daughters, Becky Edens of West Valley City, Utah, Donita Zundel of Elkridge, Md., and Jacque Bunch of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one sister, Jacqueline McCafferty of Wichita, Kan.; and 10 grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Franklin, by Bishop Carlton McCuiston. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park . Mrs. Bunch will be placed in the church Wednesday at 1 p.m. Friends may join the family Tuesday night from 7 to 9 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assn., 5701 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23462.
