Obituary of Louis Edward Bunch LOUIS EDWARD BUNCH The Virginian-Pilot - February 8, 2004 - Section: LOCAL - Page: B7 EDENTON - Louis Edward Bunch, 79, of the 2300 block of Rocky Hock Road, died Feb. 7, 2004 in Britthaven of Edenton. Mr. Bunch was born in Chowan County and was a son of the late John Sherman and Rosa Bunch. A retired farmer, he was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church, was formerly a member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge, the Edward G. Bond Post No. 40 of the American Legion and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Maxine Bradshaw Bunch; three sisters, Elsie Nixon and Shirley Byrum, both of Edenton and Hazel Bunch of Hertford; a brother, Clyde M. Bunch of Edenton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Elbert Bunch and Mack Bunch. A funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home by the Rev. Meredith Garrett and the Rev. Robert White. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family today from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home and other times at the residence.
