Marion Russell Britt, 67, died April 15, 2003 in Richmond. A native of Dublin, N.C., he was a son of the late Cary and Gladys Kinlaw Britt. He served two tours of duty in Korea and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Survivors include two daughters, Julie B. Kennedy of Franklin and Jennifer B. Pitts and husband, Mickey, of Farmville; a sister, Daphne B. Howell of Chuckatuck; a brother, John Grady Britt of Franklin; four grandchildren, Stefan Turner, Matthew Joyner, Joseph Joyner and Trevor Duke. He was predeceased by a son, Russell Lee Britt and two sisters, Syble B. Burgess and Irma Wimberly.
