Survivors include his mother, Margaret Jones Styron of Hamilton, Ala.; father, James Tuben Brinkley Sr., of Suffolk; sisters, Myrtie Lynn Nowell of Montgomery, Ala., Angie Pierce of Hamilton, Ala.; a brother, Jesse Thomas Brinley of Hamilton; grandparents, Myrtie Brinley Gardner, uncles, William "Bill", Willis "Sonny", Wesley "Shorty", Floyd, Jesse, Earl and John Brinkley, all of Suffolk, the Rev. Elisha Jones (Dick) of Roanoke, Va., Wiley T. Jones Jr., "Buddy" of Black creek, Va., and John P. Jones "Red" of Florida; aunts, Betty Joe Harris of Suffolk and Molly Pannell of Mississippi; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Dickie Styron. The funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. in Hamilton Funeral Home, Hamilton, Ala., with burial in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held in Suffolk, day and time pending.
