CALVIN MILTON BRANTLEY

Calvin Milton Brantley, 75, died Dec. 18, at Southampton Memorial
Hospital. Born in Southampton County, he was the son of the late
Richard O. and Lizzie Ellis Brantley. Mr. Brantley was a retired
farmer and a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy B. Cross of Suffolk and Irene
Brantley of Franklin; one brother, Floyd W. Brantley of Suffolk; and
several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four
brothers, Marvin, Alfred, Clarence and Richard Brantley and a sister,
Daisy Brantley.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Wright
Funeral Home, Franklin, with Ashley Ellis officiating. Burial will
follow in Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will
receive friends one hour prior to service.
