Claudie Branch, 72, died Feb. 22, 1997, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. 

Mr. Branch was a native of Southampton County and was the son of the late Crawley Branch and Ellen Beale Branch Williams. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a retired bronze caster. 

Survivors include a daughter, Linda B. King of Lansford, Pa.; two sons, Robert Branch of Lansford and David Ricky Branch of Rutherford, N.J.; two grandsons, Jason and Wayne Branch. 

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. David Johnson. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home and other times at the home of George and Virginia Galtress, 28970 Walters Highway.
