Obituary of Robert Lee Bradshaw ROBERT LEE BRADSHAW The Tidewater News - 06-08-1951 Robert Lee Bradshaw, 40, a farmer of the Sedley community, was fatally injured early Wednesday night, May 30, in an automobile and truck accident on Route 35 near Homeville, Sussex County, Mrs. Bradshaw, who was riding with her husband, was seriously injuryed and is a patient in Raiford Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bradshaw was a life-long resident of this county. A member of the Black Creek Baptist Church, he was the son of Charles and Annie Lee Johnson Bradshaw of Sedley. Besides his wife and parents he is survived by two daughters, Misses Gladys Louise and Ruby Bradshaw; three sons, Robert Linwood, Emerson, and Matthew Bradshaw; two sisters, Mrs. A.H. West of Portsmouth and Mrs. Charlie Cook of Franklin; and four brothers, Willie George, Edward and Junius Bradshaw of Franklin. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Black Creek Baptist Church with Rev. S.C. Lanning and Rev. W.B. Watson, a former pastor, officiating.
