Richard Irvin "Ricky" Bradshaw, 37, of 1082 Pretlow St., died Sept. 27, 1993, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. 

Mr. Bradshaw, a native of Southampton County, was a farmer and a member of High Street United Methodist Church. He was a 1974 Franklin High School graduate and a 1976 honor graduate of Paul D. Camp Community College in Franklin. He was a member of the Sportsman's Bassmasters and the Davis Ridley Hunt Club. 

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Allen Bradshaw; one son, Shane Irvin Bradshaw; his parents, J.P. and Diana Thomas Bradshaw, all of Franklin; one sister, Diana B. Shockley of Virginia Beach; and one brother, James E. "JEB" Bradshaw of Franklin. 

A funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday in High Street United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Erickson and the Rev. Gary Powell. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
