Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, September 27, 2001 James Horace Bradshaw Jr., 59, of Water Oak Drive, died Sept. 26, 2001, at his residence. He was a native of Southampton County and retired from Gwaltney's of Smithfield as a truck driver. He was a member of Burdette Baptist Church, Franklin, and the Teamster Union for Truck Drivers. Mr. Bradshaw was preceded in death by his parents, James Horace Bradshaw Sr. and Virgie Johnson Bradshaw Crumpler. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Galloway Bradshaw; three daughters, Pamela B. Davis and husband, Charles, Lisa B. Morris and husband, Christopher, all of Smithfield and Sandy L. Rawls and husband, George, of Carrollton; sister, Diane B. Fowler; brother, Charles E. Bradshaw, both of Boykins; six grandchildren, Lisa, Kayla, Shayne, Meghan, Hannah and Edward James; and stepfather, Melvin Lee Crumpler. A funeral will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Smithfield, with the Rev. Gary Cumm and Father Anthony Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park , Franklin. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
