Howard Robert ``Buster'' Bradshaw, 71, died Sunday, May 18, 1997, in Courtland Healthcare Center.

A retired farmer born in Southampton County, he was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Jacob and Martha Bradshaw-Bradshaw.

Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his wife, Marjorie Stieh Bradshaw; a cousin, Essie Ellis of Sedley; and close friend, Joseph Umphlett of Walters.

A funeral will be held at Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at 3 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Wayne Underwood. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the home of Max Stieh, 25496 Hyders Drive, Courtland, and suggest donations to a favorite charity. Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel, is handling arrangements.
