Bessie Edwards Bradshaw, 80, of 807 Fontaine St. died Sept. 21, 1993. 

Mrs. Bradshaw was a native of Southampton County and was the daughter of the late Hurley and Martha Cobb Edwards. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Herman J. Bradshaw; two daughters, Carolyn B. Fowler and Nancy B. Bridges, both of Franklin; three sisters, Kathleen E. Wade of Franklin, Bonnie E. Askew of Como, N.C., and Leatha E. Whitley of Sedley. 

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Wright Funeral Home by Dr. Roy DeBrand and Rev. Sharon James. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence.
