A native of Nansemond county, she was a retired seamstress who was a member of First Baptist Church Main Street. She was the widow of Shirley Blythe. Survivors include a daughter Joyce B. Akers of Suffolk; a son, Jack W. Blythe of Suffolk; five sisters, Mary Edith W. Carter of Gates County, N.C., Lucille W. Judkins, Nell W. Williams, Gladys W. Spivey, and P. Jane Worrell, all of Suffolk; a brother, S. Jimmy Worrell of Suffolk; and two grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday in the Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Suffolk from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and at other times at 308 Lake Drive in Suffolk. Sidley F.
