Mrs. Blankenship was a native of Wallace, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Ritchie West and Eugenia Madeline Hart Scott. She was the widow of Earl D. Blankenship Sr. Mrs. Blankenship was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ and its Women's Fellowship, Ladies Bible Class, and Ladies Circle of Hunterdale United Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Kathleen B. Magazu of Dover, Del.; two sons, William H. Blankenship and Earl D. Blankenship Jr, both of Franklin; nine grandchildren, Frank J. Magazu Jr., Anna Jean Toms, William H. Blankenship Jr., Michael L. Blankenship, Julie B. Grizzard, Brandon P. Blankenship, Dayna Blankenship, Dara Blankenship and Earl D. (Tre) Blankenship III; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 1994, in the Hunterdale United Church of Christ with the Rev.
