SUFFOLK - Lazara Reyes Benton, 49, died April 14, 2002, in Camden, N.J. 
Born June 5, 1952, in Rizal, Manila, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Simeon and Irene Aragon Reyes. Mrs. Benton was part owner of and travel agent for CMV Enterprises, and was formerly a NBI agent in the Philippines and worked at the U.S. Embassy there. She was a good mother and a member of the Catholic church. 
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Benton; daughters, Sara Mae Benton of Goldsboro, N.C., and Joan Reyes of the Philippines; son, Ryan Benton of Goldsboro; and brother, Roger Reyes of the Philippines. 
A funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by Father Patrick Golden, with burial in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery.
