She was predeceased by her son, Alan Wayne Blanchard; sister, Helen Vann; and brothers, Dempsey (JR) Vann and Otha Lee Vann. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Diane Johnson of Hampton, Debbie Reddington of Newport News, Kay Jones of Hampton; son, Gary Blanchard of Suffolk; sisters, Margaret Hoffman of Hampton, Maybell Johnson of Suffolk, Selma Ellis of Suffolk; brother, J.W. Vann of Portsmouth; and nine grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Michael Brinkley, with burial in Holland Cemetery.
