A native of Southampton County, he was a son of the late Spurgeon and Elsie Lee Bailey Beale and the owner of the Log Cabin general store. Paulette will be remembered as a person who helped others and he will be loved and missed. Survivors include two sisters, Peggy Carr of Windsor and Diane Hancock and husband Robert of Missouri; a brother, Ronald Beale of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Kenneth Williams. Burial will be private at Mount Horeb Cemetery.
