Obituary of Felton M. Barham FELTON M. BARHAM Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - November 4, 2002 NORFOLK - Felton M. "Buddy" Barham, 74, of the 800 block of Weiss Lane, died Nov. 1, 2002, in a Norfolk hospital. Mr. Barham was born June 8, 1928 in Franklin, Va., the son of the late Noah and Bertha Barham. He was a graduate of Franklin High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from The Virginian-Pilot and Ledger-Star newspapers as a print shop manager with 30 years of service. He was also formerly employed with the Commonwealth Printing Co. Mr. Barham was a member of the Somme Avenue Christian Church, Norview Masonic Lodge 113 AF&AM. He was past high priest of Norview Royal Arch Chapter 62. He received the degree of Grand Council of Anointed High Priest, and was a member of the Order of Thrice, where he was a former Illustrious Master. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 204. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Marie Johnson Barham; his daughter, Dianne M. Cochenour, and his grandson, Angelo S. Cochenour, both of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Lynette D. Spivey of Norfolk and Evelyn Shue and her husband Lou of Virginia Beach; and sister-in-law, Loretta Stephens of Portsmouth. A graveside service with Masonic honors will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. W.F. Gregory officiating. The family received friends in H.D.
