Obituary of Thelma Bradshaw Baggett THELMA BRADSHAW BAGGETT Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - December 2, 2003 Thelma Bradshaw Baggett, 92, died Nov. 30, 2003. Mrs. Baggett, a native of Suffolk, retired as a lingerie buyer for Leggetts Department Store. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and the Ladies Star Sunday School Class. She was also a member of Bethlehems Staleys Circle and Womens Fellowship. She was predeceased by her husband, Mahlon S. Baggett Sr.; her parents, Gertie G. and Robert L. Bradshaw; and two sons, Mahlon S. Baggett Jr. and Gary W. Baggett. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Jonathan D. Palmer. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and then follow in procession to the graveside. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Christian Church Building Fund at 1549 Holland Road, Suffolk, VA 23434.
